1. Plan your event before hand.
You should have the following. Who, what, when, where, and why.
2. Explain for whom or why are you having an event.
If you will be on an alt character, or you are new to the forums, or not in the guild, please provide your ign.
3. When will the event take place.
Provide a date, start time, and end time, as well as what time zone you are in.
Make sure and check the NF calendar and make sure that there is not already an event scheduled at the same time you are planning on having your event.
We don't want any events to overlap. You should allow at least an hour for the event ahead of yours to finish before starting a new event. Please do not plan events longer then 2 hours or more.
4. Where will your event be held?
Please provide the name of the home, lot, or land, and what server the event will be held on.
5. What will be happening during your event.
6. Post your event here in Celebrations, Birthday's & Event's
A staff member will make sure that your event is put on the calendar for you. If several days pass and you notice your event has not been put on the calendar please send a private message to any staff member and we will be glad to do that for you a.s.a.p.

Here are few more things to remember when planning
your awesome Free Realms event.
Remember this is YOUR event. YOU are in charge. The success of your event depends on YOU!
It is always best to schedule your event with at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise people might not be able to attend because then have made other plans etc..
If you are providing prizes for your event YOU are the one that is responsible for providing them. Don't expect others to provide prizes for your event.
If something comes up in real life and you are not able to attend your event please post on your event thread that your event has been cancelled. Then if you wish you may reschedule your event for another date and time.
It is very VERY important that you remember the number one most important rule when having an event... HAVE FUN!!
