GENERAL MARKET RULES
Only ONE market thread PER DAY may be posted by each member.
The market is NOT for chatting. Please limit your posts to making offers/bids ONLY. Any off-topic chatter will be deleted by a staff member.
Please do not bump your market threads. If you would like to update your market OP, it’s acceptable to then make a post stating that it’s been updated. However, please do NOT make random comments or post "bumped" to move your thread to the top of the market forum.
Do NOT discuss the price of items on a member’s market thread.
You may only trade/sell/auction items that you currently have in-hand.
If someone turns down your offer, please do not get upset or angry. Either make another offer or look for the item in another market thread.
We highly recommend that you DO NOT hold items for people. It is not fair to others who might be offering/bidding on the same item and are ready to trade.
When a trade/sale of an item is agreed upon, please do not post further offers for that item. We expect our site members to keep their word and complete all trades/sales once an agreement is made.
Do not post links to your stores/markets from other websites. They will be removed.
Social networking cards and game cash cards may NOT be sold in the Free Realms Mayhem market. This includes Free Realms Station Cash cards. Due to members being dishonest and trading cards they do not currently have in-hand or used cards, we can no longer allow codes to be traded on our site. This also includes PlayStation, X-Box, Club Penguin, Wizard 101, Gaia, WOW, Guild Wars, IMUV, or any other social networking or game cards.
Items may NOT be sold or traded for real money.
Codes that originally cost real money to get may NOT be sold on our site. This would include all VR codes from the physical card packs/decks.
If there are any problems with your trade/sale/auction, please do not fight or argue in the forum. Let a staff member know, or report the problematic posts, and it will be taken care of as quickly as possible.
If you choose not to follow the rules, there will be consequences. By following the rules, we mean following them as they are listed above. The first time you break the rules, you will receive a warning from a staff member and your name will go on a list. If you continue to break the rules, then you will be suspended from the site for two weeks. Upon return from your suspension, if you continue to break the rules, you could be banned from the site permanently.
AUCTIONS
There must be an ending date and time for all auctions. Please include your time zone when posting the ending time. If other time zones are needed, the staff can fill them in.
Once the auction has begun, meaning once the first bid has been posted, NOTHING in the OP can be changed. A staff member will lock the post so that it can’t be edited any more.
It is nice to have a buyout price for your auction, but it’s not required. Once you set the buyout price, it may NOT be changed, so make sure the buyout price is a price you are willing to accept for the item you are auctioning.
If there have been bids on the item being auctioned, then when the auction ends (at the designated ending date/time), the highest bid wins the auction and a date/time to trade should be agreed upon between the owner and the winner.
If you choose to set a buyout amount for an auction, and if someone offers the buyout amount, then the auction is over and the trade should be completed.
If your auction comes to an end and there have not been any bids on the item, then you may begin a new auction thread for that item, if you choose to do so.
SCAMMING
Never, ever call someone a scammer on this site. If you get scammed, let the Administrators know immediately and let them handle it. Any post calling anyone a scammer will be removed immediately from the forums.
The best way to report a problem that you are having with someone is to show proof. When you send your PM to an Admin about the problem, include quotes, copy and paste posts or messages, and/or take screen shots of transactions. There is nothing the staff can do to help you, if you do not have proof.
If conclusive proof is shown that you have been scammed by a member of this site, that member will be banned from Nerdz.
We do not take scamming lightly. We want this to be a fair and fun place to trade.
We want our market to be a safe and fun place for you to be able to trade, sell, or auction your Free Realms items. Please follow all rules and guidelines, be polite, and remember to have fun!
